The heart of the Mighty Mac Fest is the Creative Corner a dedicated space for educational programming tailored to celebrating the unique artist in us all. Whether you are an emerging filmmaker, storyteller, musician, or performer, the Creative Corner will provide festival-goers the opportunity to engage with industry experts and peers through workshops, panels, and interactive sessions.

Submissions for the 2024 Mighty Mac Fest are now closed. Thanks to all who submitted films, we are excited to screen this excellent roster of films in October!
Check back here in December for information on submitting for the 2025 Mighty Mac Fest.

Passes to the 2024 Mighty Mac Fest are FREE from August 5 - September 30.
Simply click on the link below to get your passes. Note: Passes are limited during the "free pass window" and after September 30, 2024 all passes will be $200.
When reserving your pass, please take note of the following:

Passes are specific to individuals so while we do allow an individual up to ten (10) passes note that we will need individual names no later than September 30, 2024 or you may run the risk of losing your additional passes (so the takeaway is, have everyone in your group register individually if possible and we all live happily ever after).

In the event you are a student enrolled in ANY artistic program, please register under the "STUDENT" pass selection...we like to keep track of silly things like that...forgive us.

Sean Sorensen founded Royal Viking Entertainment and is currently writing and producing dozens of projects in active development. Sean produced cult favorite MAYHEM starring AcademyAward-nominee Steven Yeun and Samara Weaving, the cop thriller BLACK AND BLUE starring Academy Award-nominee Naomie Harris, Frank Grillo, and Tyrese Gibson for Sony Pictures, and the searing 9/11 true story WORTH, starring Academy Award-nominees Michael Keaton, Amy Ryan, and Stanley Tucci for Netflix. Most recently, Sean produced the psychological thriller THE WASP starring Naomie Harris and Natalie Dormer which premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival in June 2024.
Sean is a collector of contemporary art and travels away from Hollywood as often as possible.
AMERICA YOUNG
DIRECTOR • WRITER
America Young was awarded the 2020 Humanitarian Award by UCSD and the Spirit of New Mexico in 2022 for her work as a filmmaker and for championing women in the film industry through The Chimaera Project, a non-profit she co-founded and serves as President.
Having stunt coordinated for years, America transitioned to directing seven years ago. While having a solid foundation in action, she is also known for her ability to bring out the best performances in actors, both drama and comedy, while translating subtle and rich story points visually on screen. The projects she has helmed have a wide range from a drag queen comedy to sci-fi action to fantasy action to coming-of-age drama to exploring domestic violence in a superhero universe.

Lyliana Wray has a passion for working with diverse filmmakers to bring unique, individual perspectives on-screen and is dedicated to creating a more positive and empathetic world through the playground of storytelling; at the heart of every complex character is the humanity that connects us all. At age ten, Wray booked her first ever audition, Lifetime Television’s GIRL MISSING, and has since accepted roles in film and television, commercials, and print. Her resume includes ALBEDO ABSOLUT, Paramount’s MAXIMUM RIDE, ABC’s BLACK-ISH, CBS All Access’s STRANGE ANGEL, NBC’s THE NIGHT SHIFT, Nickelodeon’s revival of ARE YOU AFRAID OF THE DARK?, and Paramount’s box-office hit TOP GUN: MAVERICK.
CHAD LAMARSH
MUSICIAN
Chad LaMarsh is a renowned figure in the New England music scene, boasting over four decades of experience as a musician, songwriter, and performer. Throughout his career, LaMarsh has shared the stage with iconic names such as Paul Simon, Bob Dylan, Godsmack, and the Goo Goo Dolls, leaving an indelible mark on the industry.
In addition to his impressive live performances, LaMarsh's original compositions have been heard on ABC's ALL MY CHILDREN. With a treasure trove of stories from the road and the studio, LaMarsh offers invaluable insights that are sure to both entertain and inspire.

JAMES C. HART
PRODUCER • DIRECTOR
James is a seasoned Emmy award-winning producer and director in both film and television. His credits include the feature DRONES directed by Rick Rosenthal with Matt O'Leary, Eloise Mumford, and Whip Hubley; ABUELO an acclaimed short film from the American Film Institute; and HALFWAY THERE starring Matthew Lillard, Blythe Danner, Sarah Shahi, and Esai Morales.
Hart's television portfolio is equally remarkable with various producing credits on NBC's HILL STREET BLUES and ABC's THE WONDER YEARS with Fred Savage, Danica McKellar, Dan Lauria, and Alley Mills. He co-executive produced episodes for NBC's MEDICAL INVESTIGATION and MISTER STERLING. Hart has produced and directed episodes for NBC's L.A.LAW and CBS's CHICAGO HOPE. His contribution to these production teams has been recognized several times; he has received several Primetime Emmy nominations and accepted one award.
